AFRICA - BENEFIT 2009
I HEART AFRICA was a great time and a huge success! More than 100 people gave their time to help, from the parking lot, to greeters, ticket takers, cashiers, dancers, shopping assistants, cooking and serving delicious food, set up, tear down, construction, cameras, logistics, sound, lights, decorating, music, public relations, tagging and pricing items, assistance in customs, photography, video...and on and on and on. Best of all were the unique and beautiful pieces that filled the Marketplace, created by Ugandan artisans through OCM's Africa trAID program.
